Here are some photo's of the old TMB layout on Long Island. Ironically the new layout is progressing rapidly and we are about to test the tracks, control panel, switches this week. These shots were taken at our Final open house. Lets see what you got

Nice layout with some good locos running on it.  

 

I particularly like the big bridge.  I've always wanted to build one but don't have anywhere on my layout for one.  

 

And I love the loco crossing it, too.  I've always wanted an M-1, even though I know it was not a very successful locomotive design.

 The M-1 was in many ways like the UP Coal Turbine: an attempt to burn coal in a "modern" form (steam instead of gas turbine, but still), really big, and ultimately a failure, even with all the cool engineering.  A learning experience, so to speak.  But both were awesome locomotives in their own ways.
