Awesome ,, almost unbelievable that such a detailed realistic display could be made by woman and man you both must have painstaking patience
you both have to be congratulated for putting many of us to shame ......
HOLY COW!!
I don't know what they're supposed to look like but they sure look like they should.
Outstanding!!!!!
Absolutely amazing!
Wow thats incredible! Jim how did you and Leslie construct the brick walkway, it looks incredible.
I would like to publicly thank Jim and Leslie for starting the SSS thread. That way, the rest of us have fair warning not to bother posting our pathetic offerings.
Off-the-scale work. Really!
Vulcan, awesome job as usual. I love the drain. Great work!
Actually, right now, it's just a hole in the floor. I have to figure out how to do the drain.
But thanks!
Wow!
Great enjoyment everyone!
Busy week –
Customer cars –
Nice pics everybody!
Jim,
The garden looks great! One can never have too many photos.
Dave
When the old firehouse brings out the old pumpers to get some air and to show-off, folks gather quickly to have their photo taken with the Old Timers.
Actually, this scene was just my way of getting two had-to-have elderly firetrucks and some boy scouts onto the layout w/some kind of purpose.
I'll start off this week's showcase. Leslie has been working on the herb garden of the stone house and it has been very challenging. Trying to get the plants to look different and to somewhat mimic the plants we had in the garden has been difficult. ...
Jim And Leslie, I saved every one of your photos to be sure I would learn well from them. What a spectacular idea and result. Masterful! Congratulations!
Frank
Wow Guys,
Some great looking scenes!
Thanks for sharing.
Jim/Leslie.....your gardens are spectacular....what actually did you use for the flowers? Is it commercially available product?
I'm about to start on a "Town Park" area with a carousel as the centerpiece, and was hoping to create walkways with a floral or hedge type edging, and some small planter areas within the park.
Again, yours is beautiful.....great job.

Mike ct, your coaling facility pictures you posted were fantastic,Sam told me today on the way back from Neals open house that your facility was at Mercer Junction for some weathering,I'm going to go check it out but I have a feeling that it might be nailed down permanently to that store layout. Chet
Alex,
I really like that bridge in the background.
Vulcan, awesome job as usual. I love the drain. Great work!
THANKS, JIM
Frank, Did you scratch build the Firehouse? Cool looking structure.
Jack

No, Jack. It was a kit I purchased several years ago from Valley Model Trains website.
Leslie, Jim Wonderful work. Somewhere I read that as hobbies go, the largest is Gardening. Maybe even in O-scale.
Mike,I hope you knew that I was just kiddin' about your coaling facility being nailed down to the Mercer Junction layout. Chet

The coal tipple is there for everyone to enjoy. If it become part of the layout, that would be interesting.
It is a module that could be made fit several places. Once I complete my Coal area, it might come back.
Mike
Oh it's nailed down all right. It looks great on my home layout! Next stop Greenville.
Just kidding..............
Dave
Jim,
The garden is fantastic.
Steve,
I love to look at your work. I saw the glasses in your picture of the work bench. I have a similar pair and sometimes can't find them on my workbench. I hate wearing glasses.

Yeah, I enjoy peeking at other people's workbench clutter. You can learn a lot by studying the workspace of an expert like Steve.
Jim and Leslie,
Where are the models? All I can see is your house.
Wow ! You keep your house so beautifully.
I love that garden.
Who is the gardener?
Where are the models? Everyone keeps syaing that house and garden are models.
Are they blind?
That's your house, right?
You live there.
It just kinda looks like it's on a table.
Blown away in Carmel.
Scrappy
Wow - just wow. Jim that is stupendous.
