When the old firehouse brings out the old pumpers to get some air and to show-off, folks gather quickly to have their photo taken with the Old Timers.
Actually, this scene was just my way of getting two had-to-have elderly firetrucks and some boy scouts onto the layout w/some kind of purpose.

Jim/Leslie.....your gardens are spectacular....what actually did you use for the flowers? Is it commercially available product?
I'm about to start on a "Town Park" area with a carousel as the centerpiece, and was hoping to create walkways with a floral or hedge type edging, and some small planter areas within the park.
Again, yours is beautiful.....great job.

No, Jack. It was a kit I purchased several years ago from Valley Model Trains website.

Chet The coal tipple is there for everyone to enjoy. If it become part of the layout, that would be interesting. It is a module that could be made fit several places. Once I complete my Coal area, it might come back.

I love to look at your work. I saw the glasses in your picture of the work bench. I have a similar pair and sometimes can't find them on my workbench. I hate wearing glasses.

Yeah, I enjoy peeking at other people's workbench clutter. You can learn a lot by studying the workspace of an expert like Steve.
