Good Morning Everyone,

I will start off with a grain silo, oil terminal and gas holder I constructed some years ago. Lets see what you have been working on. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.

Nice work!

Y'know, I've often thought it would be something to model a working gasometer (yes, that's what they're called.)  It would present an interesting model engineering project and of course, have to operate very slowly.

There was once a coal gasification plant with two gasometers across the street from where my dad worked at a power generating station.  I was always fascinated each time we drove by that the vessels were always at different levels.

These photos show two factories along the riverbank on my 10’-by-5’ layout. In the foreground is Jenkins Valves, built from an American Flag Company kit by BTS. I find this building interesting because of its trapezoidal footprint. In the background is my scratch-built model of The Chromium Process Company.

What I often find most striking about your structures Melgar, are their colors. I'm not sure if you paint them, but if you do, you do an excellent job.

All of your structures look perfect in every way to me. Arnold

You took the words right out of my mouth Arnold.  Great job as usual Melgar.

I love seeing prototypical buildings and scenery even though Warrenville is nostalgically toy-like

I like it ARC, but I think you'll need to find a better place on the layout for it. If you can't, I think I can find a spot on Warrenville

I figured someone would comment on its location 😁! It has a safer home on the layout that’s not finished yet.
