Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with pictures of my completed tanks from last week. Let's see what you have been working on.

Aha! I see you are using L girder benchwork. Even on my small layout I have learned the very great advantage of this style of benchwork: the ease with which changes can later be made. Because all attachments are made from underneath it is easy to make changes even after there is scenery and trains are running.
Alan and all, amazing contributions to this Sunday Showcase. Appreciate the detailed pictures.

Happy Showcase Sunday all and boy what a great thread so far! Always amazed and impressed by the work on display here.
Still working on the February Community Barn Build so I'm kind of torn as to what to post here and what to save for the Thursday Check In. For those of you following along with the Build Thread, I have been working on perfecting turning cardboard into a reasonable facsimile of wood. I guess you could say I'm trying to take the paper back to its roots.
Below are the latest examples of work I've completed on the interior walls of the barn using said method. In the last pic you can see that there is the possibility of actually changing the color of the wood as well. Both of the inserts pictured are from the same piece of cardboard.
Thanks as always to Alan for starting us off and for all those who take the time to post pics and comments.

cardboard, card stock and paper are the most "under rated building materials"...been making buildings (and other thing) out of it for as long as my 75-year young mind can remember...

There are some really unbelievable structures displayed this week.
Alan, those have to be the nicest pen holders around.
