I haven't done much weathering work lately, but I found some motivation today to get going again.  I much prefer to weather in "batches" rather than doing one car at a time.  I'm a bit impatient by nature, so by doing batches at a time, there's always a car to work on...and no waiting in between steps in the process!

Here's a photo of the next group of cars to be done...ten Weaver 40' boxcars that I picked up at a local train show this past Fall.   There's also a couple photos of a paint mask that I made out of packing foam to simplify the process of painting boxcar interiors.  I no longer have to mask the car exteriors with tape to protect against over spray.  I can now paint 6 interiors at a time with no exterior masking...a huge time saver!
