Good Morning Everyone,
I ill start off with something I constructed in the past. Lets see what you have been working on.

These views show the northeast corner of my 10’-by-5’ layout. This was the last unfinished space on the layout, and just the brick building, from a kit by Itla models, was built for the corner. Then, Trainworx offered the kit for the New Haven Railroad control tower, and I had to include it on the layout, so I crammed the two buildings into the corner. The tower really doesn’t belong there, but I like both buildings.

I'm currently working on a retaining wall and wooden tunnel for the back left corner of the layout. The walls are paper prints which I've added balsa to for dimension. I have the walls and tunnel portal done and will start on the rigid foam carving for the hills next. I hope to build the whole thing on the bench and drop it onto the layout since it's a long reach and it's hard to work over the layout.

These are great. I have a bunch in diecast and have been fabricating some container trailers, but have been having a hard finding the wheels. Where did you source the wheels on these?

Thats a really nice version of the Olympia Tool and Die kit! Is that a plaster kit?

You can get 1:50/1:48 scale wheels from Don Mills Models on da bay or
Maguiresmodels.co.uk in the UK which will have more parts/options in 1:50 scale.

Steve. You´re welcome. I am happy to see them. The box car with potatoes looks just amazing.

Thanks. The kit is from laser-cut fiber board. When painted, the texture looks just right for brick.

Bossman,
I will go back and look it up. I think I may have stolen them off of one of the first gear trucks I had.
Great work guys. I especially like the scratch built and kitbashed projects. Much better than a display of commercial items. Keeps your hands and mind working.

Where does one get o scale taters?
Good stuff this week!
Mel that Tower definitely needed to be on the layout and it looks good in that corner. I remember when you were just finishing that corner.
Bob i would have never known your retaining walls were photos if you hadn't spilled the beans. Is that regular corrugated cardboard for backing?
Steve and Johan the details and weathering are fabulous as always.
Very nice Rich, I see a lot of candidates for Tall Buildings Tuesday populating your layout.

Thanks for the product info. Seems like its going to be a challenge to find. I found them on some European sites that won't ship to the US. if anyone knows where to get them in the US please post the info.
Thanks!
