Good Morning Everyone,
Here are some pictures for a model I created in the past. Let's see what you have been working on.

Very nice Alan
Ken M
Alan, Steve and Johan, very fine work by all.
Alan is that Elliot's Bryn Mawr substation?
Grass is starting to grow on a few spots around the layout and the more "modern" Sandy Beaver Iron Works and Machine Shop is in place. A few of the "locals" even showed up to observe some of the progress! Lots and lots of work left to do.
Thank you fellas.
Coach,
That is Eliots substation that I constructed for him.

Those buildings look fantastic! Are they kits?

NS Trainman,
The stone background building is the MTH Grainery that I cut apart and repositioned to fit the space, put on a paper corrugated roof from Clever Models, and scratch built a loading dock. The background building next to it is just foam board covered with paper siding from Clever Models, Grandt Line and Tichy windows and door, dirtied up with some pan pastels.
The feed mill is by Atlas O, from the old Walthers Cornerstone series. It's built mostly stock with the exception of the roof and overhang. The roof is covered with paper "slate shingles" that I made from gray artists paper with some paint slathered on, cut into individual shingles, and applied over carpet tape. The whole thing was then weathered with pan pastels. The dock overhang is Plastruct corrugated siding. I primed with gray automotive primer and then weathered with various rust colored shades of pan pastels. In fact, all of the colors on the feed mill are pan pastels, sealed with Dullcote. The brick foundation is printed brick from Papercreek Models.
The large brick building is kit bashed from several OGR Ameri-towne (I think that's what they're called) kits.
Thanks, glad you like them!

Thanks! Those are Scalelink figures from the UK. They are unpainted and come in a variety of poses and activities. I think they have over 300 different figures in their range. The only downside is their UK attire but I can overlook that because of the quality of the casting. They're reasonably priced also, even with shipping.
