Progress on Max Foods.........
I didn't need another formal entrance, so brick paper does fine.
Windows for the upper level.
I love working outside summer mornings.....Max is helping as usual......
Interior details.....

Pete, nice project, but I really like the view of the gazebo down the hill on the lake shore. I could spend many relaxing hours there catching up on my reading.

i have not done much in a long time putting my efforts at the club. I installed the new Morton Salt and added a new TMCC crane at the club.
I like to make things from my diabetic supplies. Today, I made some Morton Salt shipping canisters.
I am adding LED lights to this gorgeous structure:
I started another topic to find what a freight station interior looks like as well! This structure is so well done it begs for a full interior.

I am watching this build with the intention of building the same. But the question is, with all the work and effort, professional builders would have removed the doors and not just brick behind them. Doesn't it look a bit awkward OR is that a look you are trying to achieve?
There is nothing like the unusual, and this little slice of days gone by is exactly that. Your usual excellent build Marty.

That is a great point. I would have to think it through. This is a building that will be part of a portable layout and will be packed/unpacked/stored/transported. I would probably have to do something other than paper(the door protects it), but it's a great point.

I agree, Peter, what a great view! Nice project too.
Al, what is the scale of the grain elevator? From the size of the doors it looks smaller that 1:48.
Myles
it is o scale but the doors are only 6 scale feet high.

Peter, forget the trains today. I'd rather be fishing at that beautiful lake.
Rod Miller
Peter, maybe you can cut a piece of sheet styrene or even thin luan to fit the opening and cover it with the brick paper.
