Good Morning All. I will start off with something from the past. Lets see what you have been working on.

I take it as some cold storage transfer facility? Looks great, esp the two different types of structure sides-old brickwork then stucco'd on the front and sides for a more "modern look"
Started the TW TrainWorx New Haven Switch Tower kit....
I'll be putting this on aside for awhile.....until the midsummer......for two reasons:
1. It requires a lot of sanding to curve the edges and I want to do it outside.....
2. The Mianne Benchwork shipment arrived, and, I need to get started!
Have a great and safe weekend, folks!

I picked up off da bay these 3 O scale cubed cyclone filters.
They were sold as small [opened] medium [left] and Large [Right]. They seem quite detailed.

Happy Sunday! Great work everyone. Hope that the folks who made it to York found some nice goodies. Couldn’t make it this time around, but I’ll have to take a vacation day for the fall.
Not much new on my end, but I did make a hopper load using some leftover materials like rigid cardboard and scrap foam. This beautiful panel side hopper from Atlas couldn’t just sit empty.
Next time I’ll probably cut down on the height of the mounds, but overall I’m pleased how it came out. In the coming weeks I’ll work on a ballast load using some of the learnings.

Peter it doesn't look as if you're waiting for the build crew to show up.

Hi Alex,
This looks real good. May I ask the purpose of the plastic?

Thanks Dave! That was an idea I borrowed from some English modelers on Twitter. I used plastic cling wrap to keep the hopper clean as I built up the coal pile on the underlying foam and affixed with glue.
It worked ok but wasn’t perfect. In some spots it was tricky to remove the plastic cling after the load dried. That said I do think it added some ease to sculpting the load to my liking. The “fit” of the coal to the edge of the hopper is pretty much perfect, while still being removable.

I believe this is the first for me with actual scenery instead of structures. Some photos of the start of ballast and scenery for my railroad. Techniques and processes are contained in the last posts of https://ogrforum.com/...2#161349519265121112

Use "O scale pipe" as a search and the seller comes up with various amounts.
