Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with some things I constructed in the past. Lets see what you have been working on.

Hey guys. I am continuing my tour around the layout. Today we are rounding the curve and heading towards North Platte.
Featured in this area is a farm, gas station and the trailer park. Bisecting the scene is a two lane blacktop crossing the double track main and heading under the bridges into a tunnel.
The buildings are all Woodland Scenics. The high line bridges are kits by TW Trainworks. I really like these built up WS structures for their realism and ease of use on my layout. Around the farm, I added a corral for the cows and also a small vegetable patch. A Plasticville wind mill and some additional details complete the scene. Notice the “barn find” Porsche peeking out from the inside.
Across the road, the gas station is a welcome site for fuel and service. I crammed in a lot of detail in this small space. I like the mechanic having a chat with the girls “over the fence”.
My trailer park, “Desert View Campground” I will highlight next time. If you recall, Allan Miller did a separate article on the Campground in Run 313.
Enjoy the pics and have a great Sunday!

I have been trying to get down to the shop this train season but work and the nice weather have thwarted my efforts to do so. I’ve still managed a bit of progress on my replacement car shop and here it is with some of the weathering applied:
Another great Sunday Showcase. Alan the tanks are amazing. Donald really appreciate all the pictures with the weekly tour. Just an amazing layout. Norm like the colors and details on the roof and entire structure. Pete really nice Crab Shack. Looking forward to seeing it in location.

Progress on the Monon Shops gas station. Building assembled and three coats of paint...
One thing I love about this thread, in addition to appreciating the talents exhibited and getting good tips, is the thread forces me to make progress so I don't miss out on this weekly report

Wow, I'm usually impressed with you work, but I love this!
My only changes this weekend was to weather my new gas pump, which looks so much better than the kit pump I'd had there before
I just noticed the bottom isn't perfect flat so I need to grind it flat with my Dremel.
This gets better every week, the only new I did this week was to finalize my Yard Light design, these are cool white but also making some warm. These are Evan Designs Mega LEDs in my built light poles.
Hoping soon to make them available to Forum Members.
Great stuff this weekend.........75 degrees in Richmond.....I went outside.....
Weathering a shed to go near a factory on the layout.....this is a piece from the Plasticville Farm set.....
Staining a wooden station platform with MinWax Dark Walnut.....my substitute for Railroad Tie Brown.....and, a lot less expensive.....

Too many good things to write specific comments about, so I'll just give a shout out to the whole deal!
Wow lots of great work this week!
