Tanks, refineries, steel mills, house, ships. Anything you can't build Alan? I always enjoy seeing your work.
Thank you Coach. You will not be seeing anything new for a couple of months because I have to get through this move and set up a smaller work area. I will still construct the larger models and I will have to be more efficient with my space. Next week I will put up some pictures of the empty model room and all the packed up boxes. This is bittersweet.
Good luck with the move! Seeing some of the things you turned out while looking at the waterfront (I'm guessing your vacation home) I'm sure you'll figure out how to make do with the smaller work area.
Alan,
I know it's bittersweet. That space is ideal and I remember when you had just completed it. On the flipside, an artist such as yourself, can do great work anywhere.

I’ve been going through the process of swapping out all of my smaller curves for larger ones. These went from 72” to 135”. The trains look so much nicer but sometimes I have to readjust the scenery.
Awesome work guys!
Alan, I love the oil and gas tankers.
Dave, the wider curves look awesome.
Norm, that interior is going to be fantastic.
This week I’ve been working on another Alan-style petroleum tank, and just added the railing this morning. I’ve also been trying to fit a road and retaining wall to start to create a scene on the layout.
Folks,
you are seeing my Tankie replacement in Anthony. Looks great. I can’t tell the difference.
David,
Your scenery is breathtaking. The wider radius track makes the layout even more real.
Norm,
You are one heck of a craftsman. You mastered manual scratch building and are now complimenting it with 3D. Great work.
Great stuff everyone.......
Peter
We are doing another Bathroom remodel and I’ve been busy.
Early September I made a large mistake by ordering 1:43 mechanics from a person from France on EBay. But never again. Over 30 days for delivery and they were unpainted.
I’ve learned about EBay and now I am late but I will share with you how I have displayed the mechanics….
The Motor Sales building will be placed on the layout this winter.
Wow guys, nice work this week! Norm the interior is looking very nice.

Your had a great model room...Im sure the new one will be just as great even if smaller. After all it's not the room, its the guy building the models! Once you get settled in I have a new project in mind...maybe I can be your first build in the new shop!

Beautiful! Would love to see a before and after picture. I think that would really drive home the change in curvature.
