Good Morning Everyone,
Here are a few pictures of a sand bin that I have constructed. It will serve a rail line on one side and trucks underneath.

I am finally getting close to finishing up on an HO scale refinery for a customer. It is about 80% kits and 20% scratched built. It is amazing how many HO scale kits are out there compared to O scale. But then that is what keeps Alan, me and others in business!
Alan,
I love the picture. That is a great scene
Alex,
The engine house looks good. The brick detail came out very nice.
Joe,
Great job on the refinery. It looks very nice. You laid it out very well.

This is a very impressive refinery. Really nice job!
spent more time then necessary with this backdrop, but it was a good learning experience with water color pencils and water colors. Now just need to add detail pieces located in storage in another state
Tried a pano view from the I OS upgrade.
Have a good week

Congratulations everyone. Very nice work displayed today.
thanks Art..IT was one of those cases where 1/2 the backdrop detail doesn't even show.
Since I have no room for layout in FL, I'm doing more detailed small rural diorama's.
This is a terrific photo, Lee. The adaptation of large vehicles to Super Streets is to me the most significant development to date with this product.
Thanks. It's been a lot of fun - and why I am rebuilding the layout so more can be run, etc.
All good. Refinery is amazing. How do you fellas price custom projects like that? Is it cost plus, time and materials, fixed prices, etc?
This a hobby business for me. I quote a fixed price.

A two stall engine house made from an old VHS tape storage box.
Very creative! Nice job.

WOW, Joe that structure is beautiful. Is it for your layout or a customer?
That's BTS' Orbsonia Station? Correct? I've always liked that kit. Nice Job! If I hadn't build my own, I would have built that one.

I would love to take credit for this but the kit was built by another forum member named scenery artist. I was asking who the kit manufacturer was since the building is beautiful!
