Sunset ATSF full dome painted in NorfolkSouthern

I had someone ask about doing the dome as Conrail #55.  I will gladly take orders and see we can get enough to do it in 2 rail and 3 rail.  I will need help on the lettering diagram.

Wouldn't a local repaint be cheaper?  After all, if the market was there, you would not have to order more than one for yourself.  I wish you the very best with your investment - even if they don't all sell, you are doing the hobby a great service.

There is nothing like factory paint when it comes to getting the lettering done.  I received an email from Scott earlier today and he will be adding the NS Delaware and Conrail #55 in green to the reservation list!!!

VGN64:  I would love to have the Full Dome , But not as a stand alone car. I would need the rest of the train to go with it.

I hate to say this but you have to take what you can get when you can get it.  Scott will have the factory doing the GN Empire Builder and making a different brass wrap for the ATSF full dome.  Fortunately there are no major changes to the ATSF outer appearance besides paint.   To fill out the NS executive train you could start with Union Station, American Lightweight and Walthers kits.  I've seen some of the original N&W and Southern heavyweights modified to become NS executive cars.

You could use some in the excursion train.

I bet I'm one of the few people that spends more time photographing the excursion cars than 611.  The Milwaukee Road cars were absolutely beautiful.  Could you order one of the GN short domes?  I thought they had one in GN and one in NP colors.   The SAL sun lounge car from the Meteor set would work.

Will GGD remove the SF Ice breakers and the name plates for the Delaware car?

Also this car is good for the Auto Train Full Domes and Iowa Pacific dome.

It is my opinion that this car would be hard to sell due to the lack of the rest of the RTR car consist.

As information comes in I send it to Scott.  Using less detail should be easy.  The NS Delaware is a done deal it will be produced.  Conrail may happen depending on commitments.  I would buy a Auto Train in a heart beat.  When you have enough cars to do a run then doing different paint schemes doesn't take a large quantity.  

There are those of us that love domes no matter what road.  I would run a dome train of everything I own!!!
