If you have a fan driven smoke unit, and you're running command with constant voltage on the track, the Super-Chuffer should work fine.  You will still have to have a chuff switch to trigger the chuff with the Super-Chuffer.  I've attached the Super-Chuffer manual to the post.  I actually have an early Lionel Reading T1 with a Super-Chuffer installed.  Mine has the Timko DC motor upgrade so I could use the ERR Cruise Commander, an MTH fan driven smoke unit, and of course, the Super-Chuffer.

So I can unplug my chuffer switch from my sound module connect it to the super chuffer board then connect back to sound module ?  Is there a part # for the mth smoke unit?  One last question  does anyone sell tender tethers? I made a 6 pin tether for ERR upgrade, but it looks like I need at least an 8 pin tether. Thanks and have a happy Easter

If you have the ERR AC Commander, one presumes you have a matching RailSounds board to command control of the sounds, right?  You connect the chuff switch to the Super-Chuffer chuff input (pin #5), the other connection of the chuff switch to frame ground.  The H2 connections from the Super-Chuffer feed the RailSounds chuff input.

I use the MTH tethers, BC-1000002 is the 90 degree steamer type and BC-2000000 is the flat diesel type.  They're 10-pin tethers with four #22 wires and six #28 wires.  I use something like the AG-0000039 mating PCB connector board for the other connection.
