I came across the above Batman operating car based on the Radar Lionel car. Someone did a very nice job on it! (I am not associated or know the individual)
If there was more to create a super hero train this would be a nice addition.

The Batman car is a winner for anytime running. If you like Halloween cars check out sellers other items f/s.

The funny part of this is that I have stared at the new Lionel TMCC Executive car and said it looks like the old style Batmobile it needs only the cowl on the grill and the batwing on top and could run by rail or on superstreets chasing criminals thru Schenectady or a city on a model rr near you. Hey DC comics and Lionel are you listening?

Unfortunately, Jerry is a Marvel guy so I don't see it happening
How about a Bat Signal operating searchlight car? This could be an untapped market, Super Hero / Super Villian trains, maybe Trainworx could do a Hall of Justice?

One of my favorite train scenes from childhood was the steam engine at the beginning of the old Superman TV shows.

The bat pattern would be easy enough. (If you have walls that support an actual pattern from a searchlight)
I once made a template that I cut out a round shaped stencil of the word LIONEL and affixed it to the searchlight. Actually looked halfway decent when shining on the wall, if I recall. Would seem easy to do a similar thing by cutting out the batman symbol.
