I was listening to Notch 6 a few months ago and it was the Lionel catalog broadcast. One new item them mention was a lift out bridge that was going to use the tooling of the swing bridge. I have a swing bridge on my layout and it is perfect for that. Since i was re doing the layout and need a lift out bridge it stuck in my mind. About 4 weeks ago I was ready to place a pre order for the bridge and found the cost to be around $250.00 and delivery In the fall... So I jump on ebay and looked for a swing bridge and found a few, I purchased one for $200 with free shipping. The pre order would have been 250 plus shipping. Last week in York I saw no fewer that 3 in this same price range. So if you need a lift out bridge here is an example.
