have not looked at ross, or atlas controllers but i assume they are all similar, aside from being pricey they allow for remote control of the switches.  the other option is the little manual switches that come with each switch.

New layout under construction will use Ross switches and one giant ross crossover muli switch

Who here has used the controller type switch control.  I kind of like the idea of being able to set a command to remote control the switches, but it is $$$ (but what in hobby railroad isnt)

comments, and i sure would like to see a 'here it is or here is how its done video'

thanks

pelago, with the MTH DCS System all your turnouts can be controlled through one or more DCS AIUs.  See video.  The minimal number of components needed for remote operation is one of the things that attracted me to the MTH system.

One of my Z-Stuff switch control panels is shown in the middle of this page .  My large layout is wired through the AIUs tothe manual control panel for either manual or remote control.   See MTH DCS AIUs used as Terminal Strips for Turnout Controls about two thirds down the page.

If you happen to be in the Denver Metro Area, contact me and by and play so you can get a feel for how you want to control your layout.
