I installed a TA-Studios command control board into my 282 gantry crane many years ago. It worked fine until a few months ago. Now when I power up the magnet is on!! Any one had this problem?? A search for TA-Studios did not turn up anything. I guess they went out of business?

I seem to remember this happening every now and then with mine when I used it with TMCC. Since I swapped out TMCC of Legacy a few years ago, I don't believe that the problem has returned.
I installed an LED at the top of the cranes smoke stack that lights up when the magent is on. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily have known that it was on.
Are you able to run the magnet off?

ago. It's founder was Mike Reagan, who is now head of Lionel's parts, repair, etc.
