local yard sale has a Lionel Tallulah Falls switcher with coal car and caboose for sale. I understand they were issued only to GA Power employees. What can any one tell me about the loco Is it spur drive, legacy etc? What is a value for a little to no run loco like that?

Photos please!
FYI: For the uninitiated, the Tallulah Falls Railroad ran from Franklin, NC to Cornelia, GA, where it interchanged with the then Southern Railway. Walt Disney personally chose this railroad to shoot "The Great Locomotive Chase" starring Fess Parker as Captain Andrews and Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Fuller.
Disney actually was on set during much of the filming and many local folk got to be extras.
Would definitely like to see a photo!
Never knew Lionel made this engine and set - wish I had one!
Firefox published a soft cover history of the Tallulah Falls Railroad circa. 1976, and it also included a chapter on the Bear Creek Scenic Railroad. The modern reprint excludes the chapter on the Bear Creek operation.
I have both books as well as owning the old Bear Creek Junction depot near Robbinsville, NC. I have visited the Tallulah Falls Depot, which is now a museum and gift shop.
NICE set - THANK YOU for posting the photos!
Curious they did not offer the caboose in Tallulah Falls livery?
