I have some repos at 2.00 each, also a pack of 4 used with the modern version (No Lionel target on them ) for 2.00 pack.
Go to the Dollar store and get water balloons.
We used the water balloons that have like, 50 or so attached to a water nozzle. Just pull 'em off the nozzle thingy, blow 'em up and then do what the instructions say, put Scotch tape over the tied off balloon nozzle, it smooths out the air flow tremendously and keeps them in the airstream MUCH better. The instructions also said to "...cut off the lip of the balloon just below the knot." I didn't have much luck with that, balloons and scissors don't mix well, at least not for me.
I will also be adding a 2nd collector assy since the blower gets interrupted at every switch crossing, with only the one collector. Easy Peasy to do with a 9050-150 collector assy, and it's only $4.50
