I just managed to fry my TAS smoke unit to my Weaver I-5. Does any body have a suggestion service or replacement parts. I can't exactly call either of them for information. Help appreciated

I have that I-5 with all the toys. Sometime this winter if I get a break doing repairs, I plan on converting it to PS3. I will be happy to sell everything I take out. If you do not find one, hit me at the end of February.

I definitely in for the smoke unit. I appreciate your help. I'll touch base with you in February. Merry Christmas
I remember very clearly sitting in the car with my Father watching the I-5 blasting through Readville when I was very small. Today, I often sit in the very same parking lot and watch the Acela blast through at about 100 MPH. Both the I-5 and my Father are gone but the memories will live forever.
Never saw the I-5 in person, but I think it must have been an awesome site to behold. I have seen vintage film footage of the engine in the New Haven train yard. The sound was amazing ! Can't believe the NH did save a single engine of any type.
What burned up, the smoke unit is rebuildable. Are you talking about the electronic board? G
As a kid I was made familiar with New Haven locomotives. During WW2, my mother worked for the New Haven in the Readville shops as a welder on steam locomotives. She knew them all. Her father before her was in charge of the New Haven wreck crew out of Readville.
