I will be adding this one to my layout, looks awesome. I was and still am hoping that Menard's will do a brewery. You think with all the request for one it would be a no brainer. If not Menard's than maybe Woodland Scenics will build one.

This latest offering could definitely be kit-bashed for a brewery. However, between building a layout and everything else on my platter I don't have any time to be kit-bashing. Come on Menard's, sober up and build us a brewery.

I bet if you got one of those beer bottle salt and pepper shakers you could attach it to the dispenser shoot there and have one on the ground standing up there. LOL

Just like many other corporate entities, Menards  probably has a drinking policy banning drinking alcohol on the job. If it's so, why would Menards encourage subliminally drinking  with a model brewery?

BTW, Mark at Menards should consider a tile and/or a carpet factory. Menards must sell tile and carpet!

Awesome!  The one thing I like about this building is the loading of the sawdust could be a train or a 18 wheeler. Hmmm, maybe both.

Doug

Uh that maybe a little tight trying to fit a scale hopper in that bay with the chute without any adjustments. A traditional style hopper car and/or a gondola would fit though!

That opening with the chute is for trucks, the Railroad passthrough is in the back of building.

Sorry but Menards has already entered the beer market.  Now where is our BREWERY?

Yep! To bad it wasn't a COORS LIGHT TRUCK!

That's a Freight Shaka!  That Beer is Fuzzed! Hopefuly the delivery comes with warning signs not to open right away

I picked up my Vetter's building yesterday. It is one big building. But I think it is one of the best buildings put out by the Menards crew yet. I can hardly wait to make a siding for it and get it on the layout. I saw on the box they had a number for it.  And it looks like they had 3000 made. I think anyone who has the room for this will be thoroughly pleased with it..............Paul

I picked mine up last Friday and all I can say is, "WOW".  I do however think that Herman's Sauerkraut factory is pretty nice too.

Now, if we could only get Menard's to do a brewery.................Helllllllloooo , Mark TMG, destiny is calling here!

The only Menards building I have is the cabinet factory.  I think it's time to add my second building.  They will look good together.

Yes it will.  I could kick myself for not buying the cabinet factory before it sold out.  It's available on ebay but I'm not paying $165.00.

I also procrastinated and missed out so I will order the Vetter one.

Shout out to Cabinet Bob (dad ). I'm thinking about taking a long weekend and going to the Menard's sponsored train show in Wisconsin. You going to be there. And again I have to say I love this building. Kudos Mark and crew and to Menard's for letting this happen............... Thanks Paul

Paul: I will be there both days.. see you at the Menards booth!!

Getting the train show tickets from Menards was the easy part. Finding a reasonably priced hotel in Eau Claire was another thing. Last night with the wife's help it probably took the better part of a half an hour. Some hotels were already booked for that weekend. Others were just too expensive or a bit too far away. Not sure if it is because of the train show or something else might be going on at the same time. Wife and I will be staying at the Super 8 on Mac Arthur in Eau Claire...........Paul

I thought I’d jump in here with a little local information on places to stay in Eau Claire, WI in July. Eau Claire is part of the “Chippewa Valley” area which is the gateway to Wisconsin’s “North Woods” tourist area and has lots of motels and places to stay from low priced to higher priced. Our weather in July is usually very pleasant, warm days, cool nights.

The Train Show is going to take place at our Expo Center which is part of our 2,000 acre Headquarters Campus here in Eau Claire. We are located in a suburban area on a main 4 lane highway (312) and it is easy access for RVs and Motorhomes.

Our Expo Center is new, modern and fully air conditioned. This is a really nice “corporate” type place, not some hot, dusty pole barn Fairgrounds building. Lots of beautiful restrooms and there will be food vendors.

We are happy to be able to announce that Menards will be able to offer free camping to show attendees and participants on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. (no hookups, some grassy areas, some gravel areas, some black top areas for you to choose from. 1st come, 1st choice, but there is plenty of room so don’t worry about being turned away!!) All camping would be immediately adjacent to the Expo Center

We will have all our train products on display and available for sale along with some glimpses into future products as well as some closeouts and other bargains.

This is shaping up to be a really great event, we are very happy to be part of it and look forward to seeing all of you in person!!

Paul: I'll be staying at the Metropolis Resort on the south side of town. I'll be coming in Friday nite.  Bob
