I've been looking through back issues of the TCA Quarterly on the TCA web site and noticed that from around the middle of the 70's through the middle of the 90's, the TCA Quarterlies were numbered by volume and numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 --- no number 3 issues for any of the volumes 23-40. Does anyone know why they did this? I quickly looked through issues surrounding the "missing" No. 3's at each end, but didn't see any mention of it. I did notice that Volume 23, No. 5 was wrongly labeled "Volume 24, No. 1" when it was originally printed, and this was noted in the actual Volume 24, No. 1.
