RJR, every Menards stock some train stuff year round, its just put up on there second level where they store some of there seasonal stuff! I found out the hard way and Mark helped out very fast.

I went to see my in-laws in North Dakota and from Washington State that is the closest Menards. I went there and one employee told me they put them away for storage, Needless to say I was a little PO'ed cause the store inventory said it was in stock.  I made a comment on here and Mark seen it. Low and behold the train stuff was out where it was spose to be kept off season and I was able to get some rail cars, and a few buildings!

Mark and Menards really take care of there train people along with all there other customers!

We have to talk. I keep hoping for industrial buildings, modular steel mills, factories and waterfronts...and we get Rodentia inebriata. Oy.

Biggest rats I've ever seen can be found in these very types areas...Ya never know

It could be a detergent factory....or a soap house.

Semi-useless fact, industrial rendering for soap tallow is one of the more "pungent" odors on earth;"hot decay soup".

It's smell attracts plenty of wildlife, rats, squirrel, to ferel cats and occasionally dogs...who do get in to lick at fats sometimes. They also fall into cook vats on occasion and dissolved unoticed, making soap in early vs wrecking if a filtered batch.

Smells carry for miles sometimes. Empoyees, the stench permeates everything, needing special chemical detergents and boiling water to remove the stench from equipment, cloths, and near that on your person. Fish mongers & waste management have it made. . Think twice before you build homes, inn, or food too close . 😤 😨 🤢😯😝🤧😷

Hey, that all seems metaphorically and/or procedurally kinda parallel to production or use or consumtion of sumpthin' familiar... 🤔

....ah... of course..beer & brewerys 😆

Mike, I actually just made my first "upstairs" train purchase yesterday!! I just kind of "stumbled" (that's my brewery pun!) upon that myself. Great to know it can be accessed all year 'round.

Rob, I agree, plus its even better when you stumble upon them! LOL

Well dad, neither can I. I can only hope that someday I will get the teaser right instead of wishful thinking. Speaking of wishful I see they are offering the lighted truck again free with a 19.99 order. I sure wish they would make those trucks unlighted. I would buy a ton of them. I even would see if I could shorten the chasis to make it a semi cab for a trailer.......... By the way dad I got my hotel reservations in for the Menards show in July. Staying at the Baymont this time. Hope to catch you there. Also make the other sons a little jealous LOL..................Paul
