Team tracks and transload facilities are an important part of day-to-day railroad operations.  They are found in rural countrysides, small towns, and large cities. These non-dedicated sidings do not serve any one specific industry such as a lumber yard, coal yard, etc. They are available for use by any local business as needed. Virtually all types of freight cars can be on/off loaded here.  Even MOW and some passenger train equipment might occasionally find their way to a team track.

From highly detailed layouts to simple loops of tinplate, our weekly thread is for everyone!

Join the fun, share what's being loaded, unloaded, parked, or exhibited on your sidings!

All of Ohio's great pumpkin festivals have been canceled for the year. This grim reality has been particularly difficult for members of the Everett Garden Club. Their massive pumpkin was expected to break all known pumpkin growing records. With no hope of a trophy, the club has decided to make the best of the situation. Earlier, the behemoth was loaded to a rail car at the Everett Team Track. It will soon begin a two week tour of the Valley before meeting its demise at a pumpkin seed processing plant outside Cleveland.
