A friend gave me a Marx 065 water tower, with box. I'm supposing it's pretty common, but that's just a guess. I'm thinking I might repaint it to make it look less toy-like. I would appreciate any ideas or comments on that before I possibly deface this maybe rare valuable collectible item?
Binns Road website shows that Marx made these water towers in various different color combinations, probably by the millions. Maybe some colors are less common, if anyone finds that interesting ... ?

Apparently Marx believed in truthful depictions; the box illustration clearly shows the seam on the tank.
