Temple-Inland "Sound Choice" for track bed

I know there has been a good deal of chat on Quiet Brace material as a roadbed. Has anyone used the Temple-Inland product Sound Choice? I've used it as material for a bulletin board and it works great. It's 1/2 inch thick and comes in 4x8 sheets. It's on the Home Depot website at $10.99 each. I bought it at the Home Depot in Canon City, CO. (that's one of the smaller Home Depot stores)

It seems like it would definitely hold a small brad with which to secure the track. Not sure about a screw.

Anyone have any experience with it?
