I was in Chattanooga , Tennessee for a day long steam excursion (pulled by the former Southern Railroad Number 4501 Mikado steam locomotive) to Summerville , Georgia and back.  It was one of the three best steam train excursions I have taken.  The trip included breakfast and lunch served in the dining car.  Breakfast was one of the high points of the trip!  As you might expect, I shot a ton of images,   Here are a few examples:

They are great folks and run a safe operation! Their Southern and NS Autumn Leaf Specials during the 70's and 80's were legendary, and my family rode them on a regular basis. I was once a certified fireman and engineer trainee in the mid 80's, and ran ex-SR 722 and 1st generation ALCO 8669 for 11 weeks during the summer of 1984.
