A couple of possibilities off the top of my head... either a 3-bay cylindrical grain hopper, or a PS-2 two-bay covered hopper?

Or perhaps a coil car?

Either of those would make a terrific addition to the existing line-up of scale Texas Special freight cars.

My hope is to see a matching Texas Special culvert pipe gondola with ramp.

As David mentioned, a PS-2 covered hopper would be great.

There are beautiful photo's posted in a thread just a little ways back titled "LCCA Texas Special".  Shows set box and individual units.  Good job in posting photo's.

I agree with Keith, a Texas Special culvert pipe car.  Perfect for Texas oil.  I would also like to see a TS longhorn cattle car with sounds like the Vision line release.

If it's relatively straightforward to do, many folks will go this route for sure.  The locomotive supposedly already has an updated Railsounds/crewtalk feature.  So perhaps we can somehow just get by with a TMCC board upgrade -- similar to what was done with "command-ready" locos from years past?

The lack of TMCC on this direct from the factory was a bit disappointing for me.  But given the superb talent among forum members, I figured SOMEBODY would come up with SOME way to make it happen.

Another Texas Special item that some might want...  Gellar made a shell for Lionel's Gang Cars in Texas Special deco.  It might look neat to put that gang car on the LCCA flat with speeder.
