Thank you to all my OGR friends for a great York

Scott, I hope that your wife will be fine again soon. I didn't know about it, or I would have stopped to see you.

Hoping for a speedy recovery Scott.

Scott, Thank You for starting this great thread, Your Tennessee Connection will Place you and your wife and family on our prayer list for healing mercies. God listens to prayers every moment of every hour of everyday. You have many friends here on the OGR Forum, and I feel sure that you have many friends in the TCA, LCCA and other organizations. Your son needs your love and understand during these days of healing as your wife, and family heal together. It’s nice to know that you enjoyed the show and saw many friends. God bless you all. I hope to say hi to you at the October York Train Meet.

As you know from FaceBook, I'm praying for your wife, you and your family!  I was glad to see you were able to attend with your wife's blessing!  I hope to see you and your son at York again!

I was up only on Friday, missed you at Cheddars, lots of laughs, hopefully in October.

Scott, I was standing near you and your son on Friday just before they opened the doors to the Orange Hall. The look on your son's face, eager and smiling, had me thinking to myself, "this is what the York Meet is all about".

It is always a pleasure to see you and your son at York.  Glad you made the trip under the circumstances. Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and support continue and have meant a lot over the years!  Now it is our turn to offer the same support and encouragement to you and your family. Yes Lionel, Atlas and some dealers were missing.

There were plenty of deals to be had; MTH had 200 series Lionel Corporation for $50.00, O-Gauge tinplate cars for $30.00. I saw a MTH Ives Prosperity Special engine and cars for 900.00 at Just Trains. These are hard to find. Speaking of hard to find over in Blue Hall a MTH Ives White Set for $1200.00. 263E's in Orange Hall for $329.00. Bargains everywhere, however since money is tight I had to pass on these deals this trip.

Thanks for reminding us of what's really important in life.  I enjoyed talking to you and Joshua as always and am glad to hear your wife is on the road to recovery.  I will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Scott, it was good seeing you and your son at the OGR dinner. I did not know about your wife, but certainly wish her a speedy and complete recovery. When my wife went through that process, my escape was to buy more trains.

Scott, I was glad to see you and your son at York Thursday evening for dinner. I'm also happy to hear that your wife is doing well after her recent surgery.

Both you and your son needed this break and she was wise to encourage you both to take this trip. I'm hoping to see you again at York in October.

My best wishes to your wife and your family for a complete recovery and return to a normal life.

My wife had the same operation followed by chemo and radiation about 15 years ago  All is well now.  This can be be overcome with prayer, medicine and a healthy lifestyle.  One of the things that has really helped my wife stay healthy is losing and keeping off about 50 pounds and  changing to a more healthy diet - less meat and more fruit and vegetables, plus daily exercise (walking), etc.   NH Joe
