Hi Folks

I have been doing business with Mr. Muffin's Trains for years. I have never met Steve in person, but I see him every Wednesday on chats with Mr. Muffin. If you have not tune in a great model train learning session. The stories customer service is one of the best I have work with, they provide advice, insight and tips to help you get through any issue that you might face with trains or layouts.

He and his family have done a great job of ensuring that this hobby, we love, continues. His chats on Wednesday are more how-to sessions and he brings in guest that help to teach us new techniques for the layout, or to enhance trains (for example – weathering, lettering, painting).

The customer services that one gets at Mr. Muffin Trains is one of the best, I have never seen a question that does not go unanswered and within a reasonable time, the main reason is they are dedicated to make sure that this hobby not only survives but grows.

Steve is a fantastic asset to the hobby. It is always great talking with him on anything. I will sometimes shoot him an email just asking some regular questions about any topic. I was very happy last year because I got the NYC Sharks from him. He messaged me about the other B-unit that I didn't get with my purchase, told me if I wanted it I could have it for a reduced price. I replied sure and got it within a few days. Now those Sharks are ABBA. Haha

I second all of the above and want to add that if, in your travels, you come anywhere close to Atlanta, Indiana, try and make the detour to visit the shop and layout, and then grab a bite to eat in the Choo Choo Cafe.  Back in 2021, a bunch of us from my club made this detour on our way to St. Louis to chase the UP 4014.  Even though the layout wasn't running at the time, we still got to check it out and many of us took purchases from the shop home with us.  And the meal we had at the cafe was wonderful, too.  Steve and the rest of the Muffin family are the best!

This service is very, very much appreciated!! For those of us who don't live near any train or hobby shop that carries O gauge trains, this is the only way we get a chance to see the new stuff, and especially see before we buy.

In the past, there have been way too many instances of being forced to buy something to see what it really looks like, and keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't disappoint, and then finding out it's different in appearance than what was cataloged, or what was hoped (happens a lot).  A real pain to then have to deal with this, even if the item is returned. I've lost a lot of money over the years in this process, sometimes even having to resell the item myself.

Steve helped me out big time back in 2016 when the NMRA national meet was in Indianapolis. The NMRA folks came and looked at my 3 rail layout and deemed it acceptable and added it to their layout tours. I was crashing away trying to get the Trolley Park done. Great, we were almost there. Then reality hit me as the old locomotives I had been running (barely) all took a dump. Track: yes, good power and some rolling stock: no. I called Steve and explained my layout and what I was trying to accomplish. He put together a great little line up of an Erie camelback, coal cars, Erie bopper caboose etc. Got that stuff shipped and to me right before the convention. Thanks AGAIN Steve. I like the Korber line of buildings Mr. Muffins carries too.  Train ON!

I have nothing but great things to say about Mr. Muffin's. I've bought so many things from them, and love to drive up to Atlanta to pick up my orders and visit the layout. The Choo-Choo Cafe next to the shop is pretty good, too.

I've worked with both Jeff and Steve, and they've been great. They've always been great fixing my accidental 2-rail orders when I meant to order 3-rail, etc. I'm also loving all the custom runs, especially since I collect Monon and anything connected to Indianapolis.

Steve's emails are fantastic! As is the web site! I wish other trains shops figured out their email marketing like Mr. Muffin's. The photos are excellent, and they're always included in the emails. Getting an email from Mr. Muffin's is one of the highlights of my week -- kind of like the MTH announcement emails we get daily.

I will briefly say that I met Steve at a Fall York a few years ago and he was always surrounded by someone there at the hall.

He's always "available".  As I think of something during the evening or on weekends and send email his address just so they will have my inquiry on Mondays.  Always, I get a reply with an answer or a recommendation that night.

I appreciate Mr. Muffins.

As a bakery owner here in Southern Indiana years ago I was doing a random internet search for bakery suppliers, when up popped a site for Mr. Muffin.   I was thinking who is this crazy man that goes by the name Muffin and loves o gauge trains.  I will tell you who this man is, he's one of the greatest assets this hobby could have, whether you're buying one piece of rolling stock or a Legacy Big Boy, you're going to get old fashion service and quality.  Steve, Liz, Jeff and the rest of the team "Thank You" from Southern Indiana.

I will throw a public thank you in as well.....last year I placed a preorder together with an in stock order...It says right on MrMuffins site NOT to do this. It was a mistake that I didn't realize. needless to say, I did not receive one of my items (MY FAULT). instead of telling me "too bad, we asked you not to place the order that way"........Mr Muffin gave me store credit since the item I originally wanted was no longer in stock. Top notch!
