I gotta say, I'm really appreciative of everyone on this forum. The generosity and good advice is great. I recently bargained with someone on the forum to buy two of their Menard's Morton Salt Hoppers since they are sold out. After we negotiated the price, he asked if I was the Pastor that set up the trains for the kids at church. When I said yes, he shipped the Hoppers to me free of charge as a gift towards the layout. And two years ago I watched you guys come together to create a Christmas train set for a little boy that didn't have one. The community here is wonderful and very helpful, and even when there is disagreement I see that it is done with respect. Thank you all for making this a great place. I look forward to more interaction in the future. I'll post picture's of this year's layout when it's done. It's a bit of a hodge-podge but the kids really enjoy. ~Robert

Facebook groups seem to be taking over forums, I prefer forums.
Great group here for sure!
The OGR Forum is the very best of the best.
I agree Bob, this Forum is great! I really enjoy it, learn a lot, am able to help others, and have met a lot of really nice people! Thank you for all you do too!!
Agreed!
Thanks,

I concur as well. Before joining the forum, I wandered around on YouTube. After seeing some stunning layouts, I searches a few things and was led here. Of course there was some plugging on YouTube(thanks Eric), so more encouragement to get on here.
Every interaction I have had here I view as all positive(even a few differences of opinion or point of view). I must say, all have been very inspiring, and even what I have viewed as slightly dumb questions(from myself), have turned out to not be such a silly thing to ask. Big thumbs up
I once had a teacher who told the class "The only dumb question is the one you don't ask"
He was soo right.
Hear, hear. I'm of limited means, myself, but I do try to help out with advice when I can.
