When grubby and grimy get called beautiful, are we all in trouble, or do we just like what we like and know there's more to life than a new paint job or a well-ordered garden of flowers? Any-ol-ways, I sure like hearing from you, Spence, that what I end up doing with some of what I see in life around me is worth the notice and interpretation on a train layout.

 

And just so you won't think every alley I ever saw was fit for lurkers and grime, here are a couple others I crafted that speak of a little better neighborhood, sort of, er, well, I guess...
