Thanks to Lionel for fixing my J3 Hudson so it would get the proper 4-chuffs, not 5. Turnaround (to and from) was only about a week. I haven't fired it back up yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so. This was a special run purchased from Pat's Trains a few years ago.

Wouldn't it be prudent to test it before handing out the kudos? It's probably good, but just saying...

Don't you think they tested it there? That said, I'd expect a reply like this from you, John.
Wrong side of the bed today?

Not at all. Just have been on this forum a long time.
Trust but verify.
@Larry Mullen, hi friend in the hobby, Gunrunner John is not being negative, he just repaired a current StationSounds Diner for me (NYC St. Mary’s of the Cloud Cardinal car) that was returned 4 times to Lionel Service, and even the top service manager couldn’t fix my issue, but Gunrunner John did. So, realistically he has a point, Lionel is not The Harmonyards Shops, they are having some personnel issues, I suggest you check it out to. Happy Railroading Everyone
Hi @leapinlarry ! Good to read from you again. All is well with the J3. Put everything back this weekend and it now has 4 chuffs.
Hi @Larry Mullen, that’s great news, I’m happy that Lionel corrected the issue, and in record time. Please show some pictures of your J3 Hudson when you have time. Happy Railroading Everyone
