Awesome video, well executed.
Wow! Great video. It brought back a lot of memories of the1st time I met Barry, Jim, and Marty at York. They provided a great amount of knowledge to the forum over the years. They will be sadly missed until we meet again. Merry Christmas to everyone and prayers for a safe and Happy New Year.
Great Video. Thanks so much for taking the time to create it and post it for us to enjoy. I really like the old shots of trains around the trees and layouts. It was so simple then.......
Very heart warming indeed. Just what is needed in these extremely cold days while all mankind is fighting a world war known as Corona.
Thanks so much for bringing the Christmas Spirit into our lives when we need it most.
RIP to all the great men and women in The World's Greatest Hobby who we've lost in 2020.
Godspeed and Merry Christmas to all.
Fantastic video. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas to all on the forum.
Remember, for the Magee Family and their family in the film it was only 14 days past the start of World War Two. Mike the little boy lost his father (the man on the left dancing) that year, it was his last Christmas. Don
That is a great video Don. Very good tribute as well. Some of the footage reminds me of my family get togethers in the 1970's when I was a kid. Granted I can only remember 75 and onward being so small, but sometimes old pictures would circulate on a few occasions and you would see scenes you weren't there for. Thanks Don for sparking those memories. 🙂
Outstanding!!!
Excellent work, Thank you so much for your efforts and sharing the result with us all.
Well done Don. 🎄
Well done there Don.
I should also mention that Don contacted me to see if I had something to contribute. Since I have no photographs of my trains growing up, I didn't realize up to date photographs were welcome too. Thank you Don!!
Don, thanks for absolutely awesome video, I think my favorite part was the little guy saying his prayers, it must have been Christmas Eve and he was getting in one more request. Terrific video, thanks for sharing it with us.
Merry Christmas to all,
Thats a great video. I wish a Happy and Healthy Holidays to everyone..
May the trains be with you
Thanks for that precious video. I consider it to be one of the best Christmas presents I'll receive this year. Prayers for the departed and all the rest of us!!!
Thank you, Don. We were lucky to have known those men who were so dedicated to the hobby and willing to share their knowledge, skills and experience. Warms the cockles of my heart!
Don, thank you for sharing your skills by providing that great video. Prayers for all the departed and let's hope and pray 2021 will be a better year. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
Dean
Thanks Don so much for composing that awesome tribute.
Well folks, this year is almost over, thank goodness. This was a hard year to produce a ORG Christmas Video. Loved all your pictures but the thought of loosing so many of our friends always put a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat. Glad so many of you saw it and lets hope for a better 2021. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
DON
Thank you again Don for putting together the video. I agree, I am saddened at losing so many friends not only here on the OGR Forum, but other family and friends as well. May the next year be a better one for all of us!!
Amen to losing the friends and all the knowledge they gratefully gave to us.
Curtis
Terrific. Thank you for sharing your memories...many of which are also mine. Happy New Year.
Just saw it now. Really enjoyed it. Loved those old pics, but so sad we lost a lot to the hobby this past year.
