Great photos. Mitch, keep us posted on the progress.
Mitch, What is the scope of this project? Pat B.
The Traveler was on the LAL , B&H and WNYP for years. came to them when they had common board members. it is a wood car with metal sheathing and cannot be interchanged. EX CP I believe built in the late 1800s neat car but in bad shape. Livonia Avon and lakeville railroad is corporate headquarters for the B&H Rail Corp as well as the Western New York and Penn. they puchesed a much newer PRR congressional car from the M&E to replace it. the traveler was returned home to the A&M.

The idea, as I have it, is to put the Traveler back into shape for occasional special runs. As Rick mentions above, it's my understanding that #100's not in the best condition under the sheathing...
Mitch
just a note when we got it from the A&M its name was the traveler not Explorer.
Me feex.
Mitch and Rick, Thanks for the info. Pat B.
