This morning my son borrowed my truck. So...I took my wife to the CalTrain station so she could get to work in San Francisco. That way I could use the car to get to my job. This CalTrain station is about 5 minutes away from our house and is in the middle of a small, working Union Pacific rail yard. My wife took out her trusty phone and crossed over to railfandom. She snapped a few pics of the trains in the yard and sent them to, "My favorite railfan." This could be the start of a whole new hobby for her!
