David Baldacci's "The Christmas Train" has been produced as part of the Hallmark Hall of Fame, and will air November 25th.  The Hall of Fame series is a cut above the usual Hallmark Channel fare.  I read the book about ten years ago, and found it simple but enjoyable.

Usual Hallmark Channel Fare?  Didn't know there was different levels of cheesy movies.  LOLI'm sure my wife will have it DVR'd, she watches these movies religiously every season.

Yes, Gary... The Hallmark Hall of Fame movies are usually a step or two above, with better casts, and nobody named Holly, Eve, Kris, etc... and no plot lines regarding a single mom going to her home town only to run into her high school sweetheart and getting married to him on Christmas Eve... which is the plot to all the other movies...

Oh, KOOL noticed that about the no plot lines too??  I thought it was just me.  LMAO!

The Hallmark storylines are okay with me.  Most times they are predictable.  My favorites for predictability are the fictional police/ncis/law and order plots and storyline where everything falls into place on que.  I specially like the ncis scenes where they all line up in a group brainstorming session and in order they all ontribute one magical piece of information they just happen to have.  Quite a departure from the forensic files type show.
