This will be my 2nd "York." First was last April. My experience with meets prior was small, Greenburg types. I was stunned at the size of the April York meet. I'm told this one is bigger. Going with a friend who works so Friday is the day. The 2 hour drive from Bristow,VA will be filled with "layout talk" and the "gotta have stuff" we intend to pick up. Can't wait!

Just think, 14 days and it will be a memory, with the bill a constant remonder,

Eddie G. has always had the countdown go to the "start of York Week" not the opening of the meet on Thursday.   There are activities all week before the York Meet opens on Thursday.

Hope to see you there Eddie!  Yes, the weather is shaping up nicely.

Need to run some errands and get some car work done Monday & Tuesday.  Plan to do some hiking along the AT near Duncannon on Wednesday, and watch some real trains, then wake up early for the Thursday breakfast at Round 'o Clock diner. Off to the Fairgrounds for a day of fun and over to Quaker Steak for some dinner.  Friday should be more relaxed, talking with a few folks and taking in the OGR Yellow Hall gathering.
