Just picked up my 1970s? Lionel Southern Crescent F3s from the shop and when I arrived home, my new MTH Southern passenger cars were sitting on the front porch, courtesy of Fedex. Here is the consist (sorry for the terrible video quality).

What size curves are those, I know the closet line is 16 inch, cuz that is what
I have,up top, as well: but I never, found anything big enough for double, 072 and 054 curves had to use wood!!
thank
Terry, the curves are 0-54. I used to have a double loop, but had 0-27 curves. Now, I have one huge loop using 0-54 and I use the inner loop as sidings for unused locos and stock. Tyler.
That's one beautiful train and SC F3's look great pulling your new passenger consist. You have to get one more B unit though.

That's a single motored powered unit if memory serves me correctly... Certainly no slouch!
Can you post some stills as well?
What a handsome train
Very sharp looking! Makes want to take the hour drive to Charlottesville and watch her run by in person!

You have to know how much I love passenger trains and your Southern is a beauty. The engines are in beautiful condition. Thanks for posting this video, sure enjoyed watching it.
I have always felt that set of engines was one of the nicest items Lionel has ever offered in SOUTHERN livery. I have hoped for Lionel to offer a more updated version for 20 years and finally gave up and had a set painted.
Great looking train!
Happy railroading,
Don
