Hey everyone. It's been awhile since I've posted, but I wanted to wait till things wrapped up on the layout. After 2 years of work, my O Gauge W&LE is finally finished. So here are some pictures of the last scenes that were completed.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I do not have a track plan unfortunately that I can put on here. The layout was featured in the April/May issue of OGR and was the main feature. There is a track plan in the article. However, since that was done, the unfinished section is now finished and the track in that area has changed a bit. I am going to paste a video I have on my YouTube account I just made today of a tour of the railroad via a GoPro camera. I hope you enjoy. The layout isn't nearly as big as I am sure some will find out.

The track is painted before I installed it on the layout with Track Weathering markers by Floquil. Once on the layout and ballasted, I then use weathering powders with a dry brush and weather the appropriate colors onto the tracks. Once that is completed, I go back and spray everything with Testor's dullcoate. the track is then lightly sanded to remove paint from the tops of rails and it's done.

Jason,

Appreciate the info. Looks like I'm on the same page. I just finished painting the track, will ballast and then was going to dry brush rust onto the rails. Thanks again.
