Search for O Gauge Railroading magazine at the app store.  Then it will show up.  Searching for OGR or OGR magazine won't bring the app up.

If you use the iPhone app on the iPad, you need to hit the 2X button to make the app fill the iPad screen. The app isn't optimized for the iPad.  It will look like a big iPhone/iPod Touch screen.  I use the iPad safari web browser as others do and it works good.  Sometimes the pages won't load correctly.  And will need a hit to the refresh button.  Then all is fine.  The iPhone app is alright, but it doesn't load pictures for me.  So the weekend photo thread is useless on my iPod Touch 4th gen.  Ok for just reading posts.  I find myself using safari on that device as well.

I tried the app for IPhone on the iPad, but safari works better.  Two issues, first every once in awhile the scrolling freezes where you have to refresh or rotate the ipad to unfreeze; second, you will not be able to upload photos with the new forum photo tool.  The only way to post photos with the iPad is trough photobucket.

A little known trick for quicker access to your favorite forum:  On an iPad or iPhone you can save a bookmarked page as an "app-like" icon on your home screen.  Then, just touch that icon and it automatically opens your browser and takes you to that page.

To do this, press the forwarding icon (the arrow jumping out of the square) at the bottom of your iPhone screen (or top of iPad screen) and it will ask you if you want to email, etc.  The option you want to choose is to "add to home screen".
