What is the godfather train? If it has anything to do with mobsters, I hope they don't make it.
I am dyeing too...
never heard of the Lionel Godfather train, what catalog was it in ?
Perhaps the OP is talking about the Lionel train operating in the store window when Salazzo (sp?) grabs Tom Higgins in Godfather I?

I dunno, but it seems just because a train is in a movie, particularly as "atmosphere," be it model or real, it's not necessarily a candidate to be reproduced by a model train manufacturer.
There are trains that were critical to the plot, like the AMRoad train in "Silver Streak," or "The 19" in Emperor of the North that haven't offered in model form.

sorry i was a bit tired last night. i am talking about the train that they took in Sicily in the second movie. ( i am Sicilian so i would just like that kind of train) has nothing to do with mobsters but with an early 20 century train in Europe. hope it makes more cense now.
