We need some ballast and street cleanup!

Nicely done, I can picture myself on the highway overpass looking at this scene. Love the station, is it scratch built?
Roger
Thanks Roger! Wish I could claim credit but the station is HO Walthers "city station",
the "flats" are Bachmann false front resin buildings that darn near broke me, even from Amazon.com. I love Glenwood Springs, wish I lived there. I simply want to create a similar "atmosphere", would love to have some sulphur smell around...
I swore I would duplicate the "twin towers" but ran out of glue and energy.
Someday!

OK, missed the first picture. It is good to see the City Station fits so nicely with S trains. I have been thinking it would do well for Canon City. False fronts do well as a stand in the the stores on the other side of the Viaduct. A future project in the twin towers. Nice work!
Roger
The other thing about using HO buildings is I'm trying to create a bit of distance and I think that is accomplished.
The twin towers will have to wait 'till several other projects are completed.
What part of D&RGW are you modeling?
I lived in Palmer Lake 25 years ago, on the main, and have very fond memories! Much too crowded now.
I love looking at other guys' layouts! Maybe mine will be as complete some day! I was wondering what kind of track you are using. Looks pretty good.
Jerry
Microengineering S scale code 100 flex from Tomalco. Turnouts are Custom Trax.
Good going John!
Likin' those D&RGW units and scene!
John
Agree with your evaluation concerning the crowding on the Front Range. Lived in Denver before the big population influx. Am building the Tenn Pass from Pueblo through the Royal Gorge. Not as complete as your layout however.
