Steve,
Do you know where the circus train was headed after the last RB&BB show and what has now became the fate of all those RB&BB circus cars?

They were hanging out in Oak Island got a little while.
Some down in Florida, others cut up.
Theyre so specialized that they couldn’t really adapted to other use.
Some went to museums.
PETA has one hanging on the wall of their boardroom. /sarcasm
I believe 3 were purchased by a preservation society for Steamtown National Historic site in Scranton, PA 2 sleepers and an animal car. Some of the locals can update on this.
Pass trucks might be good for other cars.

Like what?
Steamtown did not buy any of the circus cars, but the Scranton, PA based Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society did.
The cars are not always on display, but for Railfest 2017, the two performer cars were open to walk through. Two different classes of performers would be in these cars. Some of the rooms are kind of nice, but others really packed the people in. The horse car, converted from an elephant car, would arrive a few weeks after this event.
This is the only photo I have of these cars in a "train," which was in November, 2017.
Here is the animal car. This has its own generator, from what I hear. I don't think the others do. These all belonged to the Blue Train set.
Thanks Tim
