My brother in law sent me this video. God only knows where he found it.

I tried to get the correct video but was unable to do it. If ya watch the first video then you can get the correct one after you watch the sunset strip 1961 video.
Man, what a pleasure to see these now-museum pieces prowling around in their natural environment.
That was very interesting to me. I grew up 25 miles east of Los Angeles, and a trip "downtown" was a real treat, only once or twice a year. I was 11 when this film was shot, and remember scenes like those. The driver was a bit of a speeder and he or she cut off some pedestrians in a crosswalk, but he was trumped by the driver of the turquoise T-Bird who turned left in front of oncoming traffic. That was not typical of California driving of that era, which was normally courteous.
Great video. I saw some 57 chevy's, 1953 may be incorrect.

Very nice film, what a different time.
Great video! Late 50's, judging by the '57 Chevys (including a station wagon) and the Old Look buses.
It should be titled "A Sunny Day in Plasticville".
Great music. also. Thanks for posting it!
By the way, they weren't big on yielding for pedestrians or other cars, were they?
Don't they still write tickets for J Walking out there?
