I have a question to all Pennsy historians and enthusiests.

 

Did the Pennsylvania Railroad Caboose "Extended-vision" exist in its rolling stock?

 

I haven't found any info on the internet. Please refer to the photo attached.

 

If so could you point me in the right direction on the net. It would greatly be appreciated.

 

If you happen to have factual photographs of one could you please post.

Actually the N6A which was built at the same time at the N6B had a wide cupola that you might consider "extended vision".   It was not so wide as the these modern ones.    All of the N6A were either scrapped or converted to N6B by replacing the cupola.

 

I think the PRR probably had almost as many N5 in various classes as N6.
