If you want to see the Race..there is a video. Herron Rail Video...reflections of the New York Central. Video shot from the Broadway Ltd. , looking at a Niagara coming up fast !! I have that video. The NYC Locomotive is S1a #6000 and it passes the Pennsy Train. They do not say what is on the point of the Pennsy train. Even at speed one can see the S1a slip the drivers very briefly.
