When CSX received their first SD70ACE Locomotives, Cumberland shops displayed CSX 700, and

had "The Spirit of Cumberland" painted on her cab, along with a big billboard at the shops

parking lot with a image of the 700 shown.

 

When she was on the road but a short time, she was in a nasty accident and almost destroyed.

I never saw it after it was repaired and still with the 700 number. These locomotives were

renumbered in the 4500's, with the 700 numbered as the 4500.

Here are four photos of the 700/4500 in all it's decorations.

 

Fifteen years of service. I wonder how many miles she's ran!
