Enjoy the sights and sounds of steam railroading at the Strasburg Rail Road during the Christmas season of 2018. Pictures to come once I edit them all.

I'm lucky to live only an hour away. First it was with my 4 kids, now with their kids (2 each). Over the years I've ridden about 30 times...open-air observation car in warm weather, parlor car with a Christmas tree in December. Once I got to ride in the cab of #475 as a "thank you" for something I gave a engineer.
Beautiful photography Mike!
Again another nicely composed and well shot video. Nice work!

Anybody know what years Strasburg's coaches were yellow and during what years were they green? Also, what year did the railroad switch its passenger cars to their current color?
Thanks fellas! Here are some pictures: (more to come later)

Oh, boy...now l have drooled on my screen....#90 needs some sugar beet gons (maybe used as open tourist cars as gons on the Cumbres) to haul. Mommy, Mommy, buy me one! With all the publicity and exposure this Colorado decapod gets, nothing in three rail...
Outstanding video!! Thanks very much!
I wonder why some cars were lettered for other roads, Boston & Maine, Philadelphia & Reading, etc.
Beautifully shot. Amazing how you find new perspectives on familiar scenes.
Some more pictures: (thanks for looking everyone!)

A new day has dawned on the Road to Paradise and the low drone of SRC #90's generator is heard among the early morning birds as fireman trainee Shelley Hall pulls on the blowdown valve engulfing the former Great Western decapod in a shroud of steam.
N&W M Class #475 blasts out of Groff's Grove hauling the former Philadelphia & Reading President's car.
